Why I Started Gem

Gem Infant Nutrition was born from the bedside of the newborn intensive care unit (NICU), where I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside countless families through some of their most vulnerable moments.

As a NICU dietitian, I learned not only the science of infant nutrition but also the incredible strength and intuition of parents. Over time, I saw the need extend beyond the hospital walls—even families whose babies never set foot in a NICU often feel overwhelmed by conflicting advice and uncertainty about feeding their little ones.

I created this practice to simplify the chaos and offer compassionate support grounded in real-world experience.

My goal is to help families feel confident, informed, and deeply supported in the choices they make—from first feeds to toddler transitions. I firmly believe no one knows a baby better than their own parents, and my role is to honor that wisdom while offering the practical, science-backed guidance they deserve
